This past weekend I had an enjoyable time learning how to decorate a cake( Yes, I know that the letters on the cake are not centered! I am still working on that part! :-) )!
Christa, Everytime I get on your blog, I get homesick. Homesick for the background that I see, food that is introduced, and simple ideas that don't take place out here. It's good to see you and Daniel are settling in. May the Lord continue to Bless his work and yours. Mrs.Henderson
The cake turned out beautiful! I'm sure that Daniel was happy with the surprise dessert! You seem to be embracing your new role as wife and keeper at home! By the way I am enjoying your mom's new blog. Blessings, Mrs. Dumais
Christa, Great job on the cake and the floor! I know you don't know me, but I found your blog from a link that your mom had posted on the Patriarch's Wives group back when you got married. It has been a joy to read about your wonderul new journey as a wife. Keep up the good work! Love & Blessings, (: Amanda :) www.homeschoolblogger.com/amandasangels
Daniel and Christa were married November 24th, 2006. They enjoy training up their two boys, Joshua and Kaiden, who they welcomed on February 28th, 2008 and August 1st, 2013. Above anything else, our life purpose is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, and raise our blessings, for the glory of the Lord. Daniel is the son of Greg and Crystal Blanchard and Christa is the daughter of James and Stacy McDonald.

I think the letters look perfectly straight. Good job - it's beautiful!

Hi,
A while ago I found your blog through the Serven's and once you started your married blog I was delighted, and pop in occasionally.
I must say, I am surprised this is your first effort at cake decorating as you did a great job.
Please do not ask my husband about my first cake decorating attempt for a friend's birthday shortly after we were married...
