The Big Boy Is 6 Months Old!

Yes, Joshua just turned a half a year old this past Thursday!  It is hard to think that in just 6 more months he will be a year old! :-(  I thought I would list a couple of things that he is doing right now!

* Sitting on his own
* Eating 2 jars of baby food each day
* Loves his voice
* Sings with Mommy on the piano
* Loves playing with Daddy

Oh, and I can not forget, sleeping in his Johnny Jump Up!  Twice this week I have put him in his jumper so I can get a couple of things done around the apartment.  I can watch and hear him jump to his hearts content.  And all the sudden, he is quiet and I go to check on him and he is out! :-)

Praise The Lord!

We received Joshua's EEG scan test result this afternoon, and it came back normal, so we are finished with testing and we do not need to do a MRI!!  Praise God!

One Test Down

Joshua did wonderful for this test, even though he was so sleepy and ready to go to sleep.  He did not cry at all while we were there!  He was so brave!  When they allowed him to sleep, he did not waste any time! :-)  We should get the test results no later than Friday!

Joshua just finished getting all the wires on his head

Wrapping his head, so he does not pull on the wires

How do I look Daddy?

Cuddling with Daddy and waiting to get his hair washed

Prayer For Joshua!

Joshua will be admitted into a Sleep Institute today( the sleep institute is where they deprive babies from sleeping) for an EEG scan.  It is just for today and I will be there right beside him.  Then tomorrow morning we have another doctors meeting, and then we will be setting up a time for the MRI before this week is over.

Yesterday, Joshua had an episode of displaying the signs of seizures.  We do not know for sure that he has seizures (that is why we are doing the tests!), so , if you could be in prayer for our family, that the Lord's Will be done in this situation.

We will know more by the end of the week, and I will keep you updated!

Blessings!
