It was( and still is) pumping around the clock and feeding him every thirty minutes to an hour. I am also adding a fourth of a teaspoon to a ounce of breast milk. I am look forward to putting the formula away when the doctor says it is ok to bring him back to the breast full time.
Spring Meadows Mama,
Thank you so much! I feel as though God has taken a load off my shoulders.
Daniel and Christa, So happy to hear this wonderful news. What a little sweetie. Isn't it wonderful to be starting your Quiver?!! May God Bless you. Joshua is a sweetie pie! Mrs. L. Dumais
I used a nursing supplementer with my newborn due to complications until my milk came in. You can buy them from Medela. www.medela.com. They are able to drink the formula at your breast from a little thin tube. That way, they are getting the formula as well as stimulating your breast b/c they are suckling. It was a blessing to use. Just an idea...
I found this worked so well, almost better than the pump! Nothing like the babies sucking to help milk come in. If you use it and also pump, you'll have more milk than you know what to do with...lol.
Daniel and Christa were married November 24th, 2006. They enjoy training up their two boys, Joshua and Kaiden, who they welcomed on February 28th, 2008 and August 1st, 2013. Above anything else, our life purpose is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, and raise our blessings, for the glory of the Lord. Daniel is the son of Greg and Crystal Blanchard and Christa is the daughter of James and Stacy McDonald.

Yay! I'd love to know how that was accomplished (other than a lot of prayer, of course!)
